Our Value's Statement

8 Principles that make our church unique

O.U.T.R.E.A.C.H. Strategy -- 8 things that make Outreach different from other churches

O= Outreach- We recognize that effective ministry to our changing culture involves more than just verbally presenting the gospel message. Lasting ministry is process-oriented rather than event-oriented. We value the process of sowing the relevancy of the gospel into the culture through acts of love and words of wisdom. We seek to reach out in a way that is relevant to non-Christians, is intellectually informed, and is relational in approach. Our passion is to be the kind of church that makes the gospel attractive to those outside the church. We're passionate about treating all people with respect, tearing down stereotypes, and building bridges. This is a church's role in biblical outreach. Matthew 5:13-16
U= Unity- We are convinced that all who belong to Christ are one in His Body, the Church. We aim to maintain unity by honoring all who call upon The Name of Jesus.

John 17:21-23

T= Teaching- The Bible is God's Word. We strongly uphold the Word of Faith;

Hebrews 11:6.  The Word of God is authoritative truth which guides us in our Understanding of God, His desires and purposes. We value everyone being a Diligent student of the Bible and encourage its teaching to be a daily part of our lives. 2 Timothy 3:16&17

R= Restoration- We believe in the importance of the restoration of the 5-Fold Ministry in these last days. Ephesians 4:11-13. And the restoration of the backslider to return their love back to God. Jeremiah 3:14-16
E= Excellence- A commitment to continual improvement. We want everything we do at Outreach to be done in a way that honors God. We do so through a commitment to giving of excellence in our giving of our tithes, offerings, time, gifts, abilities, and talents. Philippians 1:10
A= Assimilation- Our discipleship strategy to bring lost people from our community into the crowd, into the congregation, to the committed and then into the core through our B.A.S.E. Classes. Promoting Spiritual Maturity. Ephesians 4:14-16
C=

Connecting-

  • People with God. We do so through corporate worship, prayer, and the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.
  • People with people. We do so through fellowship gatherings, Special events, special interest groups, Home bible study groups, bible classes, etc. Acts 2:42-47
H= Healthy Families- Family is God's good idea. We encourage husbands and wives, parents and children to live by the biblical principles for their role in the family. This church will aid parents in the spiritual nurture of their children and youth, but it can never replace their influence. Godly husbands and wives are the best example of the love relationship between Christ and the church to those looking for truth. (Genesis 1:26-28; Ephesians 5:22-6:4; Deuteronomy 6:1-9; I Peter 3:1-7; John 17:23)
