Be part of the answer: The Bible teaches us to overcome, persist, and stay the course—rather than meddling, murmuring, and complaining (Phil 3:13-14 and Eph 4:29).

Race for the prize! Speak as to give edification according to the need of the moment.

The Winner always has a program;
The Loser always has an excuse;                                                                                             
Always have a program: Set goals for your future. Don’t wander around just hoping good things will happen. Do you have yearly, monthly and daily goals set? Do you have a five year plan?

Both Jesus and Paul had goals (Luke 13:32 and Phil. 3:14).

The Winner says, “Let me do it for you;”
The Loser says, “That is not my job;”

Let me do it for you: God teaches us to be doers, not watchers. He wants us to put action with our faith. He wants us to run the race while looking to Him for our strength (Matt 25:26, James 2:17, and Phil 4:6-7

The Winner sees an answer for every problem;
See an answer in every problem: There is a solution to every problem. God gave us creative minds and the Holy Spirit to teach us. Many times people give up before the answer comes. Persistence and prayer will bring results (Phil 4:19, James 1:12).
The Loser sees a problem for every answer;

The Winner sees a green near every sand trap;
The Loser sees two or three sand traps near every green;

See a green near every sand trap: In every adversity there is an equal or greater opportunity. Find it! See it! See the green rather than the trap. The thoughts we dwell on produce images in our minds. A mental image has the potential to become a stronghold. Focus, then, on thoughts that line up with the word of God. Turn them into strongholds—and the traps will be only small obstacles on the way to a beautiful green (God’s will)

(Romans 12:2).

The Winner says, “It may be difficult but it’s possible.”
The Loser says, “It may be possible but it’s too difficult"                                                                     
It is difficult but possible: Our God is a God of possibilities. Look around at His creation, and think of the possibilities. Jesus says that whatever you ask in prayer will be done. He said, “You shall say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it shall move” (Matt. 17:20). When problems look overwhelming, trust God to do His part. Put actions with your faith. Nothing is too difficult for our God (Mark 11:23-24 and Phil. 3:30). HALLELUJAH!
